About the Author

Ashley Latin is an author, creative strategist, and multidisciplinary artist whose work is rooted in psychology, emotional truth, and human connection through intimate, character-driven storytelling. Drawing from observation, emotional awareness, and creative exploration, her writing blends sensuality, psychological insight, and narrative honesty, inviting readers into emotionally charged worlds where power, vulnerability, and connection collide.

Her creative background spans music, media, and visual storytelling. Ashley spent ten years working in the music industry with record labels—beginning in graphic design and photography before stepping into the role of Head of Marketing and later Executive Director of A&R. In her twenties, she was also a dancer in a neo-soul band, performing on stages across different cities. While her experiences add rhythm and texture to her storytelling, her writing is fueled by music and the emotional resonance of her own heart.

Ashley’s current work is centered on examining desire, connection, and emotional depth through storytelling, blogging, and future film initiatives. She is currently pursuing academic studies through the University of Toronto with a focus on psychology and the art and science of relationships, and is completing advanced training as a Sex Therapy Practitioner, deepening her perspective on intimacy, communication, and relational dynamics.
